École Jeannine Manuel and Frichti Project

Help us support medical personnel!

Among our parents, among our alumni, and beyond our own community, brave people are fighting the coronavirus and saving lives. Every day, these healthcare workers are surmounting daunting challenges and risking their own lives. Find out more about our joint initiative with Frichti, and make your gift today!

At École Jeannine Manuel, we expect our students to be engaged actors in the world they live in. We should therefore, as a school, model the behavior we seek to elicit. As a first initiative, we have reopened the Suffren campus to welcome children of families where both parents are serving in hospitals. We are now also launching a program, seed-funded by generous donors, to provide health personnel with wonderful lunches and dinners made with fresh produce. We will do so in partnership with Frichti, a young fresh food company, co-founded by Julia Bijaoui, one of our alumni from the Class of 2006.

Frichti matches our donations: they double the number of meals we buy and arrange for their delivery! We are starting with 1250 meals (8€ each) per week: Frichti doubles that number, so 2500 meals will be distributed each week. We have already raised 30,000 euros and provided medical personnel with 7500 meals!
